Starknet has achieved its Quantum Leap 🚀

Here is how LambdaClass has helped Starknet move toward becoming a leader in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Executive Summary

Over the past month, we have been actively pursuing three important goals:

1. Release of v0.12: ****The v0.12 was released to production through the second week of July.
2. Last month work
3. Starknet Stack: A user-friendly ecosystem stack that provides a decentralized version of Starknet. We aim to improve the developer experience and create a foundation for a decentralized L2.
4. Paris Week: We had an intense week in Paris; we were almost 30 members of Lambda, organized a conference Lambda ZKweek, participated in several others, and had a particular focus on the Starknet CC.
5. Community Growth: We began implementing a holistic strategy that includes different community efforts. A summary is down below.
   1. Cairo-by-example: We started a hands-on tutorial in English and Spanish for easier Cairo onboarding. Next month, we plan to add a Starknet introduction and translate it into Chinese and Turkish.
   2. Spanish Telegram: The channel was created in 2022. Last month, we went from 80 to 155 users. The group comprises devs from Argentina, Spain, and Colombia, with some devs from Peru, Chile, and Costa Rica.
   3. Spanish Twitter: In the mid of June, we created a new Twitter account for the Spanish-speaking community. We already got almost 90 followers in a few weeks; we want to have at least 500 followers by the end of the year.
   4. English Twitter: Another Twitter account was created in May of the current year, and last month's growth a 40% of followers; we had around 300 around the beginning of the second half of June now we have around 420.
   5. Meetups: Our team hosted one meetup in Buenos Aires and another in Barcelona, with more than 20 participants each. In both, we did a Starknet and Cairo introduction. In Barcelona, we also talked about the architecture of the Starknet Stack. We are in talks to organize meetups in Bogotá and Medellín -Colombia-, and one in Costa Rica in the following months. We started assessing contacts in different countries to launch meetups in other regions.
   6. University Engagement: We started to be more methodological with the university engagement while working on a long-term relationship with many of them. Our main focus is on the Buenos Aires University, the National University of Colombia, and the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona.

1. Release of 0.12

The release of version 0.12 is a significant milestone for the Starknet community. We are thrilled with the results of the team’s hard work and that of others in the community. This achievement marks a key moment in the history of Starknet and its journey, considering the project began at the start of 2022 and has now reached production with impressive results.

The protocol has achieved almost 90 TPS in testnet and 53 max TPS in mainnet. The Network now has more bandwidth than necessary, making it feel like a sleeping giant.
